RICHARD SHIPP - A Herald of His Coming
A word from
Rev. Prof. W.A. Isaacs-Sodeye,M.A., D.M. (Oxon.)

" The Apostle Paul, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, suggests to the Corinthians (1 Cor. 16:13) 'Be bold, be strong' in the tradition that God started when He commissioned Joshua (Josh. 1:9).

Since I first met Richard, he has been a bold dispenser of God's finished work on Calvary through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The anointing on him has been so tremendous that the shekinah glory of The Lord actually shows on his face most of the time when he ministers.  Most of the listed gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1 Cor. 12:8-10 are in operation in his ministry.  Words of knowledge and wisdom with discernment of spirits, prophecy, tongues and interpretation of tongues, power (to do miracles), faith (that moves mountains) and the gifts of healing.  Although he ministered with honesty and empathy as a pastor, it is his prophetic role for which he stands out as he courses around the world enforcing the victory for which Christ died.  By working in this way, he proclaims that Jesus is coming soon.  'A voice (Isa. 40:3-5) crying in the wilderness.  Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God, every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill shall be made low and the crooked shall be made straight and the rough places plain and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed'.

The Lord has put a tool in your mouth that will make you a faithful messenger of the Covenant, and words will come out working as 'a refiner's fire or like fuller's soap (Mal. 3:1-3) to purify the sons of Levi (1 Pet. 2:9 - Christians are royal priests in the Kingdom) so that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness' ."
