Newsletter – March 2007

Thank you for your love, prayers and support.  This God-given ministry could not survive without them.

Hosea 10:12 says:  Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unploughed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until He comes and showers righteousness on you.

2 Corinthians 9:8-10 says:  And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.  As it is written, “He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”  Now he who supplies seed for the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

Our righteousness is from God by faith in the shed blood of Jesus and in these two scriptures we see how important it is to break up our unploughed ground.  What is unploughed ground?  If we look closely and listen to the Holy Spirit as we read these scriptures we will see and hear that it is all about seeking our Lord with our all and becoming really hungry for His presence.  As His presence comes all over us, as we spend time in Him, we will receive instructions and answers to our prayers, and many other things that we have been expecting will suddenly be manifested.  We have to be obedient to our instructions.

In the second scripture, 2 Corinthians 9:8-10, we see that God is able.  We need to know this above all things.  God is able.  He longs to answer us and bless us.  Why?  So that we can go and bless others with the blessings we have received.  It is not just finances.  It is whatever we need to be able to be a blessing to others.  Notice in v.9, “He (God) has already scattered abroad His gifts to the poor and His righteousness endures forever.”  In v.10 we see that our store of seed will be increased and our harvest of righteousness will be enlarged.  Therefore, how important is it that we break up our unploughed ground of seeking our Father? It is very important.  We must seek His presence, not for what we can get, but just to be with Him and stay awhile in fellowship with Him.  He longs for us to overflow into His presence and to sit with Him in closeness so we can become one with Him and then when we are released we can go and be a blessing going somewhere to happen to someone.

Please lay aside your agenda and spend time with our Lord Jesus and please Him.  Not just five minutes but valuable time daily, and draw on His very nature.  Let yourself soak in Him, become saturated, and expect Him to draw you in.

Be blessed in Jesus Name.

Good News

There are still testimonies coming in from the meetings in January in North and South Carolina and Iowa.  More doors are opening for ministry in America this year.  Since January we have been very busy with ministry at home and visiting some of our partners.  It has been interesting to see some of your responses when we tell you that as partners with us in ministry you will reap a harvest on all your sowing.  Now is the time to increase our prayer and fasting as the harvest is increasing around the world.

Think of all the finances that have been raised for India for crusades, bore wells, medicines, orphans, HIV and aids victims, the release of prostitutes, feeding the street people, nursing institute, Bible College and housing for people.  Many souls have been saved and many have been healed physically, mentally and emotionally.  You are a part of this and more that goes on around the world.  Please give Jesus all the glory, honour and praise.

Richard is an advisor for several churches so please pray for wisdom and revelation of God’s will in all situations in order that Jesus is glorified.

God is so faithful.  He said that by Christmas 2006 we would have 100 prayer partners and Richard prayed along those lines and it was so.  By the beginning of February 2007 we actually had 110.  God is so good.

We have a web site being created and someone is kindly keeping it updated for us.

On 24 March – 2 April Richard and Steve Eldred will be going to India.  It will be a time of dedicating new bore wells, pastors’ conferences, outreach meetings in the villages, the orphans have new beds, bedding and uniforms.  It will be a time of great rejoicing for all concerned.  Please keep praying and giving thanks to God for all that is being accomplished in India.

Helen’s health continues to improve slowly.
